Features

Everything between the click and the follow-up

CallCeptor covers the call itself, getting it to the right person, and what happens when nobody picks up. Items marked Coming next are on the roadmap, not in the product yet.

Calling

Browser calling

Visitors click Call and talk. No app, no number to type, desktop or mobile.

  • Works in current Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
  • Microphone permission is requested only after the click, with a one-line explanation.
  • Opus audio with echo cancellation and noise suppression.
  • Relay over TLS on port 443 when office or bank firewalls block direct connections.

Rings your mobile

If the agent isn't at the dashboard, the call goes to their verified mobile.

  • Critical for small firms where nobody sits waiting for calls.
  • Each agent verifies their own mobile before it can ring.
  • Timeouts and overflow set per department.

Two-question intake

Name, mobile, new or existing client, and topic. Optional OTP to stop spam.

  • You write the topic list in your visitors' words.
  • Optional investable-range bands for wealth and PMS desks.
  • Consent for recording and data processing shown before the call starts.
  • Your SEBI, AMFI or other registration details shown on the widget.

Agent console

Who's calling, from which page and campaign, before the agent picks up.

  • Presence: Available, Busy, Away, Offline, with auto-Away after missed rings.
  • Mute, hold, and warm or blind transfer to a person or a department.
  • Notes, required disposition, and a client code field for existing clients.
  • Browser notifications when the console tab is in the background.

After-hours AI receptionistComing next

Intake and approved FAQs only. Never investment advice.

  • Says it's an AI at the start of every call.
  • Answers only questions you approve, such as documents needed or office hours.
  • Never recommends securities, gives price targets, or takes trade instructions.
  • Caller can ask for a person at any time; every AI call is recorded and transcribed.

Routing

Routing by page and topic

The IPO page rings the IPO desk. The research page rings research sales.

  • Rules match URL patterns, the topic picked, new or existing client, and language.
  • Business hours per department, with trading-day holidays built in.
  • Ring all, round robin or longest idle.
  • Careers and vendor enquiries go to a form instead of a person.

Follow-up

Callbacks with a deadline

Missed calls become callback tasks with an SLA countdown and escalation.

  • Visitors pick a slot and get a confirmation by SMS or email.
  • Unclaimed callbacks escalate to a supervisor after a time you set.
  • One-click dial from the callback queue, from your firm's own caller ID.

Compliance

Compliance-grade recording

Per-department rules, tamper-evident hashes, retention and legal hold.

  • Off, on with consent, or always on, set per department.
  • Encrypted at rest, with a write-once storage option.
  • Retention per department; legal hold per call or per client overrides deletion.
  • Search by date, agent, mobile or client code. Every playback is audit-logged.

Integrations

Webhooks and CSV

Push leads, calls and dispositions into your CRM as they happen.

  • Signed webhook events for call started, answered, missed, ended, and callback booked.
  • Scheduled CSV exports for teams without an API integration.

Questions we get asked

Do visitors need to install anything to call through CallCeptor?
