Terms of service
Last updated
These terms apply when you use the CallCeptor website, create an account, or use CallCeptor on your own website. CallCeptor is provided by ProxyCeptor ("we"). By creating an account you agree to them on behalf of your firm. Enterprise customers may have a signed agreement, which takes precedence over these terms where they differ.
1. The service
CallCeptor provides a Call button for websites, browser calling, call routing, callbacks, recording and a dashboard for your team. What each plan includes is described on the pricing page. Features marked as coming next are not part of the service until we release them.
2. Accounts
- You must give accurate details and keep sign-in credentials secure.
- You are responsible for what happens under your account, including what your agents do.
- Tell us at security@callceptor.com if you think your account has been misused.
3. Your obligations
- You decide what you collect from callers and whether calls are recorded, so you are responsible for telling callers, getting any consent you need, and meeting the rules that apply to your firm, including those of your regulators.
- You will only install the Call button on websites you own or are authorised to change.
- You will not use CallCeptor for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or unsolicited calls.
- You will not try to break, overload, reverse-engineer or get around the limits of the service.
4. Your data
Data your callers and team create in CallCeptor belongs to your firm. We process it only to provide the service, as described in the privacy policy. You can export it while your account is active, and we delete it after the account closes, subject to legal holds and our legal obligations.
5. Plans and billing
- Prices are in Indian rupees and exclude GST, which is added to invoices.
- Paid plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, and renew until cancelled.
- You can cancel at any time; the plan stays active until the end of the period already paid for.
- Unpaid invoices may lead to the account being limited after we have given notice.
- We give at least 30 days' notice of price changes for existing customers.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep CallCeptor available and announce planned maintenance in advance. Calls depend on the internet, browsers and telephone networks that we don't control. Uptime commitments, where they apply, are in your plan or enterprise agreement. We may change or improve features; we won't remove a core feature from a plan you have paid for during that billing period.
7. Liability
To the extent the law allows, the service is provided as is, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost business.
8. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, with notice where we reasonably can.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction.
10. Changes to these terms
We update the date at the top when these terms change, and email customers before significant changes take effect.
